L. Brooks – MA, MSW, LCSW - She has been in the field of human sexuality and health since 1999. She is currently a family therapist for those people who have a sexual addiction disorders and/ or trauma.
She has presented several workshops at professional conferences and community agencies. Her professional interests include developing and facilitating sexuality workshops for groups and individuals, including those with sexual compulsive behaviors. She also provides professional sexuality training to clinicians, educators and other professionals for working with cultural and ethnic diversity. To add, she is also an owner and independent consultant of Pure Romance by Latoya.
She earned a MA in Human Sexuality from New York Univ. (2001). She also received a MSW from Widener University (2006) and she is currently a Doctorial Candidate in Human Sexuality Education at Widener University.
Dr. Nick – MA, Ed.D – He has been in the field of human sexuality since 1997. Currently, he is a program manager at a HIV prevention program in Philadelphia.
He presented at many sexuality conferences in the United States. The majority of these presentations involved the sexual attitudes, beliefs and behaviors of African- Americans. He has also written two books (Black Hearts; Sex and Sensuality) and is currently working on his third. To add, he is also a drummer in a local rock band.
He earned a MA in Human Sexuality from New York Univ. (1997) and completed his Doctorate of Human Sexuality Education from Widener University in 2008.
